Ana sayfa / News

Remedy Entertainment has gained significant momentum in recent years with the Control and Alan Wake series, but fans are still eager for a sequel to the last Max Payne game, released in 2012. Remedy has some good and bad news for those waiting for a new Max Payne. Here are the details…

With the success of the Alan Wake and Control series, all eyes have turned back to Remedy Entertainment. While fans were hoping for a Max Payne sequel, the developers have delivered some news that might be considered good.

Instead of a sequel to Max Payne 3, which many found didn’t fully align with the story and gameplay of the Max Payne series, the entire series will be reimagined from the start. Not only is the first game being remade, but the company is also remaking both of the first two titles. According to an official statement from the company, the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake has been in full-time development for some time.

Exciting news for Max Payne Remake!

Remedy Entertainment made exciting announcements for Max Payne remake and Control 2. Here are the details!

Remedy’s only multiplayer-focused project, Condor, has also moved into full production. After canceling a mysterious project codenamed Kestrel in May 2024, Condor remains the company’s sole project in this area. Remedy stated, “The development team worked on multiple maps and different mission types. We also organized an increasing number of internal and limited external playtests to verify features and gather feedback.”

Since these games have only just entered full production, and Control 2 hasn’t even reached this stage yet, it will likely be a few more years before they are released. However, Remedy’s decision to reassign the developers who were working on the canceled Kestrel project to the other three games should help accelerate the development process.
